Library, Moodle, Practice Rooms and more.
The library is in a large ground floor room and provides space for quiet study and access to a computer terminal. The stock of books is refreshed annually, and books can be borrowed. It contains a wide selection of relevant books, an archive of journals and subscriptions to current journals (including e-journals), and an online library catalogue. The librarian can also help you source and access further learning resources.
Current students can access our Library Catalogue here.
The Centre uses Moodle which is an online learning platform that gives students access to further online learning resources for each module, programme handbooks, discussion forums and other useful policies and procedures. It also enables students to communicate easily with tutors and each other.
Training Client Referrals and Practice Rooms
Our affordable therapy service, the MCPCS, refers training clients to students. If you wish to see your training client at The Centre, we also rent rooms for use by practitioners and students. Students may hire these facilities to see training clients at a very much reduced fee and, when they are ready, can also hire rooms for private practice at reduced rates.
Kitchen and Common Room
We have two large common rooms with kettles, microwaves and fridges available for student use. Tea and coffee supplies are provided free for all students and staff.
We have accessible premises, with a lift to the first floor and a disabled parking space close to the front door.
