I am an integrative and relational counsellor/psychotherapist, a registered Member of the BACP, UKCP accredited, with over 10 years of experience in the public sector and private practice.
I am familiar with and committed to issues of intersectionality such as race, gender, class, disability, and religion and how these and other identities may be present in our work together in supervision.
My supervision training is primarily integrative, and relational with a psychodynamic at its core. However, my training in supervision supports and encourages me to work across different modalities and therapeutic approaches. Therefore I welcome supervisees from different modalities to my own.
I have a specific interest in disability studies, invisible and visible, I welcome therapists who may need to discuss in depth such issues.

I am an experienced, Minster Centre trained Integtrative Psychotherapist, a registered member of UKCP and registered member of BACP. I hold a Diploma in Integrative Supervision of Individuals and Groups from The Grove Practice and I am a tutor on the Diploma in Counselling training course at The Minster Centre.
I currently work predominantly in private practice, having worked in the past in a number of different settings including low cost therapy services, charitable and hospital settings. I specialise in working with people who have cancer or whose lives have been affected by physical illness or disability more broadly. Alongside this specialism, I have a general psychotherapy and supervision practice.
As a supervisor, I aim to provide a safe and supportive environment in which curiosity and reflection can flourish, where different levels and types of communication in the clinical work can be explored and in which the supervisee can consider what they want from their professional development as a whole. As a relational practitioner, I am attentive to dynamics in the supervisory dyad too, working with the supervisee to think about what we are co-creating and how this may be used therapeutically. I try to always remain aware of power dyanmics, shame and defences that might come into play in supervision and am committed to doing what I can to create a robust and productive supervisory alliance.
I offer supervision to newly qualified and more experienced individuals, as well as to groups, both online and in person. I am based near Finchley Road tube station in North London. Please feel free to get in touch if you would like any more information about how Ι work.

LKP Counselling
I have a private practice in Henley on Thames where I see both individuals and couples in person and online.
I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist and supervisor having completed the relevant trainings at The Minster Centre. I have also achieved Accreditation with BACP and am registered with ACTO (Association for Counselling and Therapy Online) having completed a rigorous online training during lockdown.
I previously worked across the private, public, and voluntary sectors in business development, change programmes and project management.
Whilst undertaking my psychotherapy training at The Minster Centre in London I completed specialist training and volunteered for both ChildLine and Cruse Bereavement Care. More recently, I have qualified as a ‘Certified Cyber Therapist’ with the Online Training Institute and a specialist provider for The Foundation for Infant Loss. In addition to private practice, I volunteered for many years at a low-cost counselling service for adults and young people.
Supervision
I firmly believe in the value and importance of effective supervision for ethical practice and practitioner well-being – all in the best interests of our clients. I have been extremely fortunate in finding and working with exceptionally good supervisors who have supported me in processing and reflecting on my work, supported my development as a therapist and provided that essential observer position when working relationally with clients.
If you would like to explore whether I might be a good fit for your supervision needs, please contact me by leaving a voice message or sending an email including the frequency of supervision you are seeking, your modality and contact information.
A consultation at no cost can usually be offered within a fortnight.

MA Supervision, MBACP (Accred)
In broad terms, I offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental supervisory relationship to support your growth and continue developing your own unique style.
I see supervision as a professional, safe, creative and dynamic space for therapists to reflect on their practice; monitor, develop and maintain ethical competence, skills and confidence. It is also an opportunity to process any personal difficulties that may arise in the course of their clinical work and private life. I intend to create a respectful environment to encourage exploration and growth.
I offer an integrated approach to supervision based on The Seven-eyed Model (Hawkins & Shohet) and IDM (Stoltenberg, Delworth & McNeil), and inspired by other brilliant authors: Proctor, Carroll, Bernard & Goodyear, and my favourite – Penny Henderson.
I employ my knowledge of contemporary psychodynamic and relational thinking and draw on my substantial experience as an integrative psychotherapist in private practice.
All that helps me conceptualise about my supervisees and their clients, and allow me to be effective with counsellors of different theoretic orientations and non-counselling professionals alike.

I am a UKCP Reg. Minster Centre trained Integrative Psychotherapist, with a Trauma Specialism. I am trained in EMDR. I am a qualified supervisor, and am completing a Doctorate in Psychotherapy. My research focuses on the field of trauma.
I have extensive experience of working with complex presentations in trauma-specialist services, in general practice, and privately. I offer long term, open-ended, and time-limited therapy. I have experience of supervising individuals privately and in services (including corporate services), and of supervising groups in general practice. I work with qualified, newly qualified, and trainee psychotherapists, and as a Psychotherapy tutor supervise students on MA and Diploma courses.
I offer specialist trauma-focused supervision as well as generic supervision. I see supervision as an exploratory, relational and dynamic process. I believe that supervision is most effective when supervisor and supervisee work together within a co-created relationship to explore the dynamics and processes of therapy with your clients.
I offer supervision in person in Dorking in the Surrey Hills; online, and via telephone where necessary.
