Working with Trauma and the Body in Supervision (Live Online Event)

Please note that this workshop is for qualified practitioners only

Drawing upon Neuroscience, Trauma theory and embodiment practice, we will be considering how we can utilise embodied countertransference when working with trauma dynamics in the supervisory space.

Using a broad definition of trauma, we will be exploring the ways in which racism shows up as trauma in our clients and in our supervisees.

The day will be experiential, considering practitioners’ own practices of regulation, embodiment and working with trauma, and exploring how we can support supervisees in trauma work.

Reena Shah is a trainer, supervisor and psychotherapist in private practice.  She is a tutor at the Minster Centre, with a particular interest in issues of difference and diversity.  She has also published on her area of research: the experience of adult survivors with a history of childhood sexual abuse.

Log in details will be sent before the event.
