4 September @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pmFree
Come to one of our free Open Events to find out more about our professional training courses. There’ll be Q & A sessions with tutors and current students, advice on the application process plus an opportunity to look around the building. Our events are also designed to give you a taste of the kind of experiential training we offer. Each open event runs for two hours.
We offer a wide range of training options; from Introductory and Foundation courses for beginners curious about Psychotherapy and Counselling, to professional training qualifications for those wishing to become practitioners, through to post graduate programmes for qualified therapists looking to expand their knowledge and practice.
Our courses include:
- Introduction to Counselling Skills
- Fast Track Foundation
- Diploma in Integrative Counselling
- MA/Ad Dip Integrative Psychotherapy & Counselling
- MA/PG Dip Professional Practice Counselling & Psychotherapy – Advanced Clinical Practice and Supervision
- Diploma in Integrative Supervision
For over 40 years the Minster Centre has been one of Europe’s leading Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling training institutions. Our courses are validated by the main professional bodies the UKCP and BACP and we are a collaborative partner of Middlesex University. We established a bursary scheme in 2015 as part of our commitment to promoting diversity and inclusivity in our counselling and psychotherapy training.
About the Open Day
The event runs for two hours – so please endeavour to be on time, and stay for the whole session. Please be advised that the cut off time for entry into the session will be up to half an hour after the scheduled start time. After which, unfortunately there will be no entry into the session, in order not to disrupt the proceedings, or by which point, you may have missed too much of the session to enter thereafter.
If you need to cancel for whatever reason, please give 48 hours’ notice of your cancellation, to allow others on the waiting list to attend.
The building is wheelchair accessible. There is a ramp to the front door and a lift to the 1st floor. There are disabled toilet facilities on both floors.
A mobile hearing loop can be provided on request.
The limited parking spaces available are reserved for staff with the exception of the space reserved for blue badge holders.
There are plenty of metered parking bays located in close proximity.
